🎙️ Are you living your dream life?

The latest from the pod

I was on a hot girl walk this week when a powerful realization dropped in:

I'm living my dream life. Like - right now.

This isn't the first time I've been here. That was over a decade ago. I had accomplished my "by 30" list, expecting that doing everything on the list (getting my Master's Degree, the job / baby / husband / house) would make me happy.

Except - it didn't. I was burned out and miserable.

Now, my life looks completely different. I don't even have the things I want yet - a financially sustainable business and dreamy wardrobe, for example.

And yet - I'm living my dream life.

As I explored the idea, I realized I was looking at life completely differently.

Before, it was about hitting certain milestones. As if life was a snapshot in time.

Now, it's about having foundational elements in place where I get to experience life through those elements.

I have:

✔️ a business

✔️ a house in an awesome neighborhood

✔️ my kids

✔️ travel planned (PS: there's still room in my trip to Colombia)

✔️ friends

✔️ the beginning of a new relationship (yup, I'll just slip that here and see who reads this far!)

Now, I'm not waiting to hit milestones. I'm looking at those areas as what I call "portals of expansion." Ways that I get to continuously grow into life, versus wait for a moment in time to happen.

So the idea that I'm living my dream life is a testament not to hitting goals, per se. It's more a nod to the work I've done to create a foundation for my life that feels really fun to wake up for and grow in to.

"Andrea was so plugged in to me and my higher self that I always felt safe enough to make big discoveries and big revelations. I wasn't charging enough for my services and she showed me, in many different ways, why that wasn't serving me, and guided me into a self-discovery journey that empowered me to make lasting change with my pricing. This change was made to honor my ancestors and all the sacrifices they made to get me where I am today."

I was leaking energy and didn't know it... Someone said something so freeing this week. As I mentioned in my last email, the inner pressure has been intense. One of the girls in my group said something that instantly dissolved a weight from my body: (Paraphrasing A Course in Miracles): The mind can't possibly understand matters of spirit. For the last year - particularly in my dating life - I've spent so much time analyzing everything. Studying every sign (I saw his initials in a license...

The question that stopped my emotions It wasn't "what should I DO about this?" Reader, This weekend I was in the feels, going through Kleenex like I had stock in it. It was the same old pattern: my son upset my daughter. They started fighting. I got overwhelmed. The tears started rolling. It's been a pattern for years. I always assumed I was releasing old emotions… but I never actually felt better afterward. Now that I only see them part time, I don't want to be the mom that cries whenever...

Where can you get wild? Break your mold this week! Reader, I'm in a group right now with the coach I did my Spiritual Coaching certification through. We started the summer with one of my favorite pieces of homework: Where can you get wild in your life? She asked us to break out mold. To do something different. Why this matters is because our lives become routine. We wake up, get dressed the same way, think the same thoughts, and make the same choices. But if nothing changes...nothing changes....
