💫 Conferences Don't Create Leaders

The Embodied Edge

I just got back from the Women’s Leadership Conference in Green Bay, WI. It was a few incredible days of connecting, growing, and learning.

As it wrapped up, I looked around the room and realized something: a conference - no matter how inspired you feel when you leave - isn’t what creates a leader.

Leaders get activated in powerful rooms, yes.

But they get created after they leave.

Leaders aren’t made in grand moments. They’re forged in the in-between:

  • How they respond after a setback.
  • How they take action without 100% clarity.
  • How they speak to themselves when no one is watching.

I'm slowly realizing - that's where I come in.

I help women become the leaders their next-level vision requires.

Yes, we talk about networking like her and dressing like her. But leadership runs deeper than that.

True leaders - those you feel when they enter a room - have:

  • Trust in themselves
  • Resilience after setbacks
  • A deep, felt sense of worth
  • The courage to act, even without clarity

Today, take a moment to reflect on who you are in the in-between.

❔ Are your habits strengthening your ability to show up with more purpose and power when the moment arises?

❔ Or are you finding yourself spiraling and questioning yourself more than you'd like?

There are no right or wrong answers. Just awareness that you can choose to use - or not.

If I can support you in this space, read on to learn about something exciting I'm putting together to help you strengthen your resilience muscle!

While I was lying in bed at 4:00 am with my conference buddy snoozing across from me, an idea hit me: a workshop designed to help you grow your resilience muscle. Because true leadership isn’t about taking action when it’s easy. It’s about how quickly you rise after being knocked down.

And I’m tired of seeing women give up on themselves and their vision because something threw them off their unicorn. 🦄

That’s why I'm piloting “Failure is Good for the Soul.”

"Andrea was so plugged in to me and my higher self that I always felt safe enough to make big discoveries and big revelations. I wasn't charging enough for my services and she showed me, in many different ways, why that wasn't serving me, and guided me into a self-discovery journey that empowered me to make lasting change with my pricing. This change was made to honor my ancestors and all the sacrifices they made to get me where I am today."

The Embodied Edge We had our second-to-last Future Self Accelerator call yesterday. There was a theme with the women I coached: both in a job, but also applying for new ones. When they closed their eyes and tuned into the energy of their current job, both actually felt pretty good about where they are. With that, we explored the parts that don't feel good. ✔️ For one, it was lack of confidence with customers. ✔️ For the other, it was feeling unheard by her boss. (Who can relate to at least...

The Embodied Edge Wanting more doesn’t make you ungrateful. It makes you honest. Thanksgiving has a way of bringing that tension to the surface, doesn't it? If you're anything like the women I know, you have a lot to be grateful for: Family. Friends. Health. Your career. The life you've worked so hard to create. And—if you're anything like many of the women I know— there’s also something deeper calling you. A sense that there’s a new version of you ready to emerge. A new chapter of your life...

The Embodied Edge I hear this a lot lately: "I know what to do. I’m just not doing it." Like the woman who tells her team it's safe to fail—yet holds herself back from taking her own risks. Or the leader who knows she can handle a major pivot at work—yet fears losing her autonomy. Here’s what I've learned: Knowing is surface-level. Doing is embodied. Your mind read books and stacks knowledge. Your body remembers past pain, failure, rejection, embarrassment… and it protects you by creating...
