🎙️ Thinking You Need to Do More Is What's Blocking You

The latest from the pod

In my world, "heal your blocks" is a common concept - like, if we don't have our desires yet, there must be something we need to find in our unconscious that's blocking us.

That may be true. I've healed probably thousands of limiting beliefs over the years.

But I also realized these past few weeks that, sometimes, there isn't more to heal. I don't actually need to do more of anything. I just need to acknowledge how good of a job I am already doing.

As high achievers, we're used to putting a lot of pressure on ourselves. One way I do that is by telling myself that I still have more to do. More to perfect. That, if I don't "have it," I must not be doing it right.

But what if I'm doing things incredibly well? And it's actually those perspectives that are the very thing keeping me from experiencing that which I want to experience?

If you want to go deeper in this topic, check out this week's podcast: 63. Thinking You Need to Do More Is What's Blocking You.

🗝️ Key takeaways:

  • The transformative shift from comparing yourself to your gap versus your gain
  • Three life examples where I didn't have to do anything differently; I just shifted how I perceived myself
  • What instant manifestation truly means
  • How I'm changing my kids' behavior by changing myself
  • An easy way to see what's in your unconscious

PS: it's also on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple. Be sure to follow the pod so the episodes auto download each week!

"Andrea was so plugged in to me and my higher self that I always felt safe enough to make big discoveries and big revelations. I wasn't charging enough for my services and she showed me, in many different ways, why that wasn't serving me, and guided me into a self-discovery journey that empowered me to make lasting change with my pricing. This change was made to honor my ancestors and all the sacrifices they made to get me where I am today."

The latest from the pod In my latest conversational-style episode, I sit down with my friend Catherine Jelinek to discuss something I heard her say: "we need to quit man hating." As you can imagine (considering we recorded a podcast episode about it), I latched on to that statement. I've been on a journey with masculine / feminine energy these past few years. (Side note: when I say that, it doesn't necessarily mean men / women. All humans carry both energies; we just experience them...

The latest from the pod Even though I'm spiritual... I'm a bit of an astrology skeptic. It's come from years of hearing things like "this month, your life changes forever!" or "things are about to blow up for you," only to find myself in the exact same situation a year later. What did move the needle for me? It wasn't sitting around with my journal, asking the New Moon to change my life. It was shifting my inner world, and taking inspired action from that embodied place. So when my astrologer...

The latest from the pod I've been toying around with this thought lately - what if I had really cool conversations with really cool people and... shared them on the podcast? The conversations I have with people light me up. They go way beyond "how's the weather?" I love digging deep into life, how reality works, what they're learning and moving through, and a host of other topics. Since my business is one big experiment right now, I decided to go for it. I'm grateful for those that have...
