You'll probably get as many answers as there are spiritual coaches and teachers. I thought it would be helpful to ground you in my perspective and experience as I've gone through mine.

I'll explain with an analogy.

​

Imagine you're you, but covered in sticky notes. 📰 Each sticky note carries a belief: something you learned from your parents, a conclusion you made as a kid, even beliefs that have been passed down through your genetic lineage.

​

You go through life thinking you are what's written on the sticky notes. Thinking you are

too much

or

too quiet

or

not talented

or… or…

​

You also have beliefs about how you think the world works… things like

you need to hustle to make money

or

you can't make a living as an artist

or

the world is inherently unsafe

or… you get the point.

​

To me, the Spiritual Awakening process entails figuring out who you are underneath the sticky notes. Ie, when you let go of all the beliefs (along with their associated unprocessed emotions) that aren't actually you… who is left? what do you desire? how would you express yourself?

​

The kicker is you can't just pick off a sticky note and read it. It's unconscious. (AKA not something you can easily see.) That's where the healing phase kicks in, which I'll cover next week.

​

For now, I'll leave you with this: you are a magnificent, unlimited Soul having a temporary human experience. The truest you underneath all those beliefs is wired for perfect health, abundance, joy, and the highest love you can imagine for yourself. You are designed to be the ultimate creator of your life experience, and to experience whatever joy and passion-filled things you want to experience.

But in order to get there, you need to drop the stickies and let the truest you shine.

That's Spiritual Awakening.

To me, that's why you're here. And it's the only game in town, baby. Everything else is just a distraction.
