🎙️ What if Divorce Was Always the Plan?

The latest from the pod

Personal update: my divorce was finalized this week.

What I've been spinning on for years, decided in June 2025, and got the ball rolling that July, has legally finalized. To say "relief" is an understatement.

The discomfort in my marriage hung over me like a storm cloud for years. I threw myself into my business, thinking that if I could just get that to be successful, the marriage would work itself out... or at least I'd be so happy with my success it wouldn't matter.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, now that I'm in this spot) that wasn't the case. My Soul's highest path was to look at my marriage and decide I desired better for myself... and spirit did everything in its power to make sure all other distractions were eliminated so I had to face this.

I recorded this week's episode right after the divorce hearing. In it I toss around this idea... what if, from a higher perspective, divorce was the plan all along?

If you want to go deeper in this topic, check out this week's podcast: 60. What if Divorce Was Always the Plan?

🗝️ Key takeaways:

  • Why I would have fumbled the type of man I desire now had I met him in my 20s.
  • How I used the things that didn't feel good in my marriage to prepare me.
  • The signs that, looking back, indicated my ex probably wasn't my highest partner.
  • Why I define this divorce as a successful relationship.

PS: it's also on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple. Be sure to follow the pod so the episodes auto download each week!

"Andrea was so plugged in to me and my higher self that I always felt safe enough to make big discoveries and big revelations. I wasn't charging enough for my services and she showed me, in many different ways, why that wasn't serving me, and guided me into a self-discovery journey that empowered me to make lasting change with my pricing. This change was made to honor my ancestors and all the sacrifices they made to get me where I am today."

The latest from the pod She was stuck between two job options. I had a powerful coaching call this week. A client came to me for clarity in her job search. She was stuck between two options - a new job that was basically hers, and revamping her current role to make it a better fit for her. She gave me a long list of logical reasons why the new role was a great fit for her... and yet, she was still confused. Instead of looking at her long-term plan, or what might be better for her resume, I...

The latest from the pod Have you ever heard the question "why are we so afraid of our power?" I've heard this question a few times over the years. Now that I am calling my podcast Aligned & Powerful, it seemed like a good topic to explore. I've heard only one person answer it (though I'm sure there are others). She shared from the perspective of "these are the most common fears that keep women playing small." I think the "fear underneath the fear" (things like "people will take advantage of...
